Replying to @cpxxx CRINGE 🥴 When abusers try to justify their behavior 🤦🏻‍♀️ There is never a justification for abuse. NEVER. As a dv survivor, my abuser try to slap me with every justification in the book; aka thwre was always a reason that he claimed I somehow deserved the horrific mental, verbal, physical abuse he inflicted on me. He accussed me of cheating; but only when he was guilty of cheating. He accussed me of lying; but only when he was caught lying. He accussed me of stealing from him; but only when he was stealing from me. On and on. And the projection of his actions onto me, turned into actions which then turned into justifications of abuse. The only people that justify abuse are the same ones who commit it. In other words, tell me you’re abusive without telling me you’re abusive… And to which case, I’ll just let my f* off tumbler do the talking. You see we stand with, elevate and believe the voices of survivors on this page; not shame them.
