A woman in a village of Birbhum district in West Bengal was dragged out of her house and then stripped and beaten by a mob. She was then paraded around the village in a near naked state. What's more shocking is that most of the people who attacked the victim were women. The villagers accused the woman of being in illicit relationship. She had also allegedly ran away from home in 2011 but had returned home after some time. This made the villagers suspect her of having illicit relationships.
